How to Make Our Boulevardier
History of the Boulevardier Cocktail
Be transported to the golden age of cocktails! Said to have been created by Erskine Gwynne, a dashing American expat living in roaring 1920s Paris, who named the drink after his monthly magazine. The Boulevardier cocktail, a twist on the classic Negroni, with whisky replacing gin as the base spirit, is a true masterpiece and a favourite of literary giants Ernest Hemingway, F. Scott Fitzgerald, and Gertrude Stein.
The complexity of the Hankey Bannister Heritage Blend whisky, originally created in 1924, re-discovered and reinvigorated, brings layers of deep flavour to this classic cocktail with hints of honey and burnt orange that is perfect for the Boulevardier.
Let the Hankey Bannister Boulevardier Cocktail transport you to a time of class and elegance.
